this was my rune card for the day:

and boy was it right! it is a card for peace and relaxation. i've been getting this card and the swan card a lot lately. both are a symbol for relaxation and for good karma. :) today i only had one client and i was able to get home and then ride my bike to target to pick up some stuff. :D i was really scared at first, i have to tell ya! i hadn't ridden a bike in a looooonnng time! but it was.... well, like riding a bike! lol! i had to adjust the seat cause my sis has long spindly legs! lol! my mom's side of the family are all long graceful things. long necks, legs, and arms. my dad's side of the family are more like.. well..... slightly evolved cavemen! lol! guess where my 5-4 body falls into! lol! i always said i had fred flinstone feet! lol!! but i've got a nice low center of gravity so i am very good at yoga! ;) the bike ride was so much fun though. very relaxing! can't wait to get my basket, cause the ride home was no picnic without it! i had a target bag slung over my shoulder. that was tough! then got home in time to chat it up with some wonderful witches! that was tons of fun! i sat outside and enjoyed! goddess i love batteries and wifi! :D

so because of my bike ride and also because *aunt flo* decided to pay a visit. i realized that i need some yoga bad today! lol!! yesterday i checked out some classes in my area. i found out that there is a place not to far from here that does $5 yoga nights! it's only once a week, but it's only 5 bucks! cool huh? i wanna get in on that one. :D but i do record namaste yoga on fit tv. i love it! it's only a half hour, but it is very good. i need to get in the habit of doing that daily.

so i have had an itch to write lately.. so i thought i'd scratch it. i found the perfect muse. :) so here is my poem:

an ode to aunt flo:

oh giver of cramps and taker of energy!

monthly visitor who rarely gives a warning call!

oh swollen siren of the south.

giving us a reason to be weepy.

oh how most women loathe thee!!

dreading your approach!

oh but how some look forward to thee!

giving us a reason for no unwanted sex, besides feigning headache.

oh how you give some hope!

proof that there is no life inside them!

oh how your are always there.

over barring, refusing to let us stay free from your visit!

oh timely visitor of my life,

may you not forever bleed on through the night!

ever read *the tell tale heart*? well.... here's a lil poem i wrote from the old man's point of view... yes.... i was board! *smack* shut up! lol!

so no bike today. :( my sis couldn't fit it in her car. oh fluff! {as my grandmother would say.} i guess i'll get it in 2 weeks... looks like i'll be walking until then! that's ok, i rather like it. :D well, i hope you all had a relaxing weekend. and i hope your monday is full of peace and love too! wouldn't it be awesome to take the calm feelings from the weekend and carry them over to the week. *sigh* that would be magic! pure magic! welll.. off i go to bed. aaahh sleep, the place where all my dreams come to life! :) see ya all in the morning. sweet dreams...

today is going to be a good one. :) my sis is bringing her bike for me to *have*. i will be able to ride to the store or the park or whatever. :D i'm thinking of taking it to my favorite spot where i can go and create! there's a few areas in l.v. that are very beautiful! ~well, the whole town is beautiful.. what i mean is it is very natural. i used to live very close to both of those spots, and now i'm kinda far away from them. so i was thinking it would be nice to ride there and chill. i can bring a book to read, and a book to write in. :) ooooo!! hey have any of you read christopher moore's books??? i just ordered dirty job.

i can't wait to jump into it! :D anyone read it?? so i finished and sent off jody's negative energy catcher, and my friend wants me to make one for love!! lol! i'm seriously thinking of going to my local witchy shops and seeing if they wanna carry them. :) cause they are fun to make!! :D well i hope you all have  a wonderful sunday!!!!! sorry guys.. but i'm gonna nerd out on you poe style! lol!! the cds are soooooooooo cool!!!! ah! i love them! i can't help but listen to them with a smile on my face! it just sounds so right. mr. rathbone is the sh*t!!!! he does the tell tale heart is soooo good! it sounds like what it sounded like in my head! lol!  this is really long.. but listen to a little bit of it. it is so creepy!! :D
