last nights full moon was pretty.. but i didn't get to see it all big. :( i read online that it was gonna rise in seattle at about 9pm.. so i assumed that we would be pretty close in time. i saw it pretty low on the horizon..  but it wasn't big. however it was a really cool shade of yellow. :D i was out riding my bike probably around the time she was coming up... but i have so many houses in my way, i wouldn't have been able to see it. :( oh well. i have seen it once and it was the coolest thing i have ever seen! i was coming home when i lived in santa barbara and it was beautiful! i was on the freeway and got to see it the whole ride  home. :)  so i went on a little bike adventure yesterday. first i broke in the basket by going to target and picking up some needed stuff. that was sooo cool! ooo and i saw a group of 3 cute, my aged, tattooed boys in the toothbrush isle. :D i was so not lookin good. i just rode my bike in the heat, i had no makeup on, and i was wearing the same shirt that i wore when i groomed! lol! but i still got some smiles and glances. :D so then i took gretchen {my bike for those of you that missed my post about her!} to my local park and sat and read. aaaaa... that was heaven! i am so gonna do that again today! that was wonderful! oh, and i noticed that the elementary school that's near my house has a passion flower vine! they have this one:

it had some fruit on the vine too, so i took two. thinking that the orange ones were the good ones.. nope after some research, you want the green ones! lol! so i'm thinking of picking some green ones today. i also found that they have a red version  that i'm considering getting.  i am gonna check my local nurseries and see if they have any vines at all. if they do and they are the right price then i will pick it up there. :) from what i understand passion fruit is very very good for you! and i love the flowers, so i would love a vine of it. :) so i was wondering, does anyone know if the fruit is poisonous for dogs?? thinking of putting it in my yard, not in the front.. but in the back. i guess that the fruits are ripe when they drop of the plant. so i would need to wait for them to drop for me to harvest them. so if they are bad for dogs, that would not be good for me to planting in an area that they can eat them!! oh and so far so good with my lil lovely plants in my garden. :) i really hope that they make it! i want some melon, cucumber, and eggplant this summer! lol! we shall see. hope you all had a relaxing beautiful full moon last night! and i hope you have a wonderful day today!!! *running in circles* IT'S HERE!!! IT'S HERE!!! IT'S HERE!!! YAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!

*clears throat, straightens hair* my bike basket is FINALLY here! yay! and only one day late! i went to the grocery store yesterday! lol!! i went on such a loooonnnng ride. wow. i thought i was going to die! i went up one of my most favorite streets. i learned something about it that i had never realized while driving it... it has a slight incline! lol! i was panting near the end there. i got to my local trader joe's and went straight for the water! i bought some cold stuff, so that was pretty nice to have on my back. the back pack helped a lot! i may still bring one for big grocery trips. but i have to tell you, the ride home was pretty sweet! having frozen food on my back and a slight decline. very sweet! so here's the new basket on the bike. oh, and to follow the pixie tradition, i named her. i may not be able to totally keep her {sis may see all the fun i'm having and be an indian giver! where did that saying come from anyway?! i've never known an indian to take anything back that was given!.. anyway, sorry.} so tell me pix if this is the name of your bike. my brain tends to forget things sometimes. lol! i named her gretchen. :)

and it has the convenient feature of easy removal for shopping! and here's the cute for lack of a better word... fanny pack that i bought before i even decided to get a bike! it has come in handy! it has a nice lil spot for an ipod and plenty of space for money!!!

If I Didn't Have a Dog... OR CAT

 

I could walk around the yard barefoot in safety.

My house could be carpeted instead of tiled and laminated.

All flat surfaces, clothing, furniture, and cars would be free of hair.

When the doorbell rings, it wouldn't sound like a kennel.

When the doorbell rings, I could get to the door without wading through fuzzy bodies who beat me there.

I could sit on the couch and my bed the way I wanted, without taking into consideration how much space several fur bodies would need to get comfortable.

I would have money .....and no guilt to go on a real vacation.

I would not be on a first-name basis with 6 veterinarians, as I put their yet unborn grand kids through college.

The most used words in my vocabulary would not be: out, sit, down, come, no, stay, and leave him/her/it ALONE.

My house would not be cordoned off into zones with baby gates or barriers.

My house would not look like a day care center, toys everywhere.

My pockets would not contain things like poop bags, treats and an extra leash.

I would no longer have to spell the words B-A-L-L,, F-R-I-S-B-E- E,,

W-A-L-K,, T-R-E-A-T,, B-I-K-E,, G-O,, R-I-D-E

I would not have as many leaves INSIDE my house as outside.

I would not look strangely at people who think having ONE dog/cat ties them down too much.

I would not have to answer the question 'Why do you have so many animals?' from people who will never have the joy in their lives of knowing they are loved unconditionally by someone as close to an angel as they will ever get.

How EMPTY my life would be!

i had such a good day today! it was wonderful. i got to see a friend who i don't see very often. she brought her dog out for a groom. he is my shih tzu maddie's brother. so it's always nice to see him. :D and she has a little boy who i adore! so it was really nice to be around them. we had a nice lunch then i got down to business and groomed. after she let her lil boy play in my back yard with the dogs, and omg! it was the cutest thing ever! my lil chi  vito was sooooo good with him. he was running around grabing toys and just having a good ol time!

then i went for a little bike ride. i am stil a little afraid, so i am trying to make it second nature. i figure the more i do it, the better i'll be. :)  it was soo beautiful out! great weather. and i saw a murder of crows flying round. it was awesome! then i came home and had another fire. :D it was also awesome! lol! you know what else is awesome?? our lady peace! i forgot about how great this group was! here's a some of their vids. check out this first song. it makes me cry if i listen to the words. it is beautiful. :)

hey guys! how are all you beautiful witches out there?! great i hope! :D i am in such a good mood today! i have done yoga already this morning, connected with miss brighid, and now i am connecting with you all. :) i have to work at noon. i only have 2 dogs today. i have had all kinds of  wonky {thanx karismar for that lil gem of a word!! :D} schedule issues. people are a trip! lol! i have decided to sit back and watch the action. all i need is some popcorn! lol! i'm over stressing over it. it always seems to work itself out. and usually i get the money in the end. {that's my biggest worry!} yesterday was fun. i groomed 4 dogs and got to see my niece. she is soooo cute! i can't stand it! and she loves me, so that is always a bonus! my sis and i ordered pizza and chatted. it was nice. :D she also finally gave me the bike!! yay!!! only problem is the tires are flat! lol! so i need to get those pumped up, then i am freeeeeeee!!! lol! ooo then pixie told me about a sweet ass site that has great bike stuff at great prices! so i ordered a basket for my bike. i am really excited! can't wait to get it. . :D  it will be cool to go to the store and get groceries and stuff. i'm already planning on what i can do this weekend. lol! today i am planning on going to my favorite park and read. *sigh* it will be magical. :) i'm really excited about the bike too cause i have noticed some extra flab that i didn't have before. lol! with my weight loss {although it wasn't a ton of weight.. i think i dropped like from a size 14 to a size 8} i have noticed that my legs, although much smaller, need some help! lol! i was doing a yoga move this morning and i looked down and saw my leg wobbling like jello!! ha!! so i think biking will help firm that up. i don't care about it... i don't think it's ugly.. i think it's funny! lol!! but it should stay in place, i think. :)  i have to have to have to share this song. i heard it the other day and i am now obsessed! lol! i know  you all know this one. i mean who doesn't know the violent femmes?!!! this song has really resonated with me though. i think it's all my friend issues. well, here you go. v.f. kiss off:

guess what! it's cold and rainy here in *sunny* southern california! lol! kinda came outta nowhere! i was wearing shorts yesterday! it's kinda nice though. i'm enjoying it, cause i know what kinda heat we have in store for us this summer! so with this lovely weather that just makes me wanna craw into bed with someone and snuggle.. i'm gonna nest. lol! well not really nest, but i am gonna clean my house! i have soo neglected it. my dinner table is covered with crap! i couldn't even tell you what half of this junk is! lol! i feel like a good cleaning is in order, then i will do a little magic. cause i need to. i need to ground myself again! ha!!! *pointing finger* self~ you are grounded!! he he he.

ya, magic is calling to me. brighid has been smacking my hand telling me i need to *snap out of it!* i'm listening. i don't wanna fall into my old traps, soooo i need to ground and center... which is really the same thing huh? lol!! ya, i'm gonna work with the ol chakras, get them all back in line. i feel like my third eye has over thrown the rest of me! lol! although i love *alysia land* i can only make short trips. i will not wanna leave other wise!

you know what poe quote is getting to me lately??
