today i feel so much love and peace. there is something in the air. it's very nice. :)  i don't think i posted about this... but i lost my cucumbers and my watermelon. damn it! :( i have a lot of ants outside of the house and i guess they love them some plants! the eggplant is still doing smashingly! lol! sooo i am not one to allow ants to win... so i bought a new cucumber plant and also got a cantelope {sp?}, and pumpkin! :D i am gonna get rid of the nasty lil ants, i hope my new babies will survive. as i was taking them home i was talking to them {in my head of coarse! no need for unwanted attention! lol!} saying i hope i'm not marching you right to your death! *sigh* maybe i just don't have the  knack for edibles. ooo i also got some chocolate mint and a foxglove!! :D yay!!! i want to make tea so bad! is tea a seasonal plant? i would want to do black tea... i like caffeine! oooh! and i have another quarry for you botanists of leisure,  do plants mate??? i have a beautiful  hummingbird salvia plant {which is quite invasive!} and it is right next to my lambs ear. the salvia is taking over, so i decided that while my hands were in the dirt, i might as well take her down a peg or two. as i began *pruning* her, {really i was madly ripping her out.. not very pagan of me.. i know} i realized that she was sprouting more and more lil babies. and the funny part is that the babies that were right next to the lambs ear were soft! just like the lambs ear! the flowers were even a little bit different! so am i just crazy? did the late afternoon sun just warp my fragile little mind?? orrrrrrr....

....long lost lovers, reunited at last!!!

it is so lovely out right now! i am just sitting here in the peace of my home. i hear the crickets singing... everything is so nice. {yes, LOVE the sound of crickets and grasshoppers. i know, i am crazy! lol! another reason why i really think they are my totems} i took a walk tonight. i haven't done that in a long time. it was so lovely. as i was just about to go home i saw the moon peaking out over the tops of houses. i decided to go follow her and see her rise. it was amazing! a murder of crows flew over my head as i got closer to her. i kept getting the sensation that i was not alone. and that today was a very special day! we had a BEAUTIFUL sunset too. i felt the deepest love in the air. i haven't experienced that in  a long time. usually i know it's for someone else. but tonight was for me! like i said.. i didn't feel alone. :)  i also was visited by a mourning dove in the beginning of my walk. it was so cute! she flew around me, it felt like she almost hit me! then she landed on the ground near me and just stared. it was like she was saying something to me.. to bad i left my bird, to english dictionary at home! lol! then she flew off when i said you better get out of the street! another sign of love for me. :D hope you all had a wonderful full moon night! i leave you with a little something i wrote a while ago. i think it fits perfectly!!!
